The LR3 (Discovery 3) is widely regarded as one of the finest all-around SUVs Land Rover ever built. Powered by the legendary Jaguar-derived 4.4L V8, it delivers an outstanding combination of reliability, comfort, and genuine off-road capability. With full-time four-wheel drive, Terrain Response, and four-corner electronic air suspension, the LR3 remains just as comfortable on the highway as it is exploring back roads or trails.
Finished in classic Zermatt Silver over a black interior, this LR3 spent its life in Texas before coming north, sparing it from the road salt and corrosion that often plague northeastern vehicles. The frame, underbody, and overall condition reflect that history.
What really sets this LR3 apart is its maintenance history. The included Carfax documents 23 service records, and many of the expensive age-related repairs that typically concern LR3 buyers have already been completed, including:

The front air struts also appear to have been replaced with Arnott units, one of the most respected aftermarket suppliers for the LR3 platform. It's obvious this vehicle wasn't maintained with the cheapest available parts. Previous owners invested in quality components and addressed the common problem areas correctly.
A previous owner also installed Johnson lift rods, allowing the factory air suspension to sit slightly higher for additional ground clearance and larger tires. I've adjusted the ride height back down to a more practical everyday setting, but the lift rods can easily be readjusted if the next owner prefers a taller, more aggressive off-road stance.
After purchasing this LR3, I personally put approximately 300 miles on it in a variety of driving conditions to make sure it was a vehicle I would feel comfortable selling. It starts easily, runs strong, shifts smoothly, rides exceptionally well, and the air suspension operates properly. Overall, it is a very solid, comfortable SUV with no drivability issues to report.
The only item worth mentioning is that the airbag warning light is illuminated. Diagnostics indicate a fault in the driver's airbag circuit, and based on experience it is most likely a clockspring in the steering column. I have not repaired it and am simply disclosing it so the next owner can decide whether or not to address it. The vehicle currently passes Pennsylvania State Inspection with this warning light illuminated.
In the interest of complete transparency, the Carfax also reports two prior incidents: a minor-to-moderate front/side accident in 2019 and a minor front-end damage report in 2021. Airbags were not deployed, there was no structural damage reported, and the vehicle has never carried a salvage, rebuilt, flood, or other branded title. The title is clean and clear.
Whether you choose to leave it stock or build it into an overland or expedition vehicle, the LR3 remains one of the most capable SUVs ever produced. With its rust-free Texas history, documented maintenance, quality replacement components, and proven 4.4L V8 drivetrain, this is an honest, well-cared-for example that's ready for its next adventure.

These items may be available for additional cost, but are not guaranteed. Vehicle mileage may increase slightly before delivery due to inspections, testing, or transport.
Deposits and Holding Policy
A $250 deposit is required to hold a vehicle for up to 7 days.
Deposits can be made via phone (credit card) or in person (cash or check).
Deposits are generally non-refundable, except under extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of D90 Auto Sales.
A restocking fee may apply in the event of a cancellation.
Payment and Shipping
We accept the following forms of payment:

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or AmEx for deposits only
Shipping is available at the buyer’s expense unless otherwise arranged. Delivery times may vary. We are not responsible for any shipping delays or damage once the vehicle leaves our location.
Fees & Documentation
PA buyers are responsible for sales tax, title, registration, lien fees (if applicable), and a documentation fee.
Out-of-state buyers are responsible for a $324 doc fee and their home state sales tax.
A temporary tag is available for $65 and must be issued through a local notary.
All buyers must provide a valid driver's license and insurance prior to finalizing the sale.
