2002 Discovery 2 - Pre-facelift Freshly inspected here in PA - Safety and emissions passed!
Thanks for looking! This truck has come along very nicely. The frame is solid and looks decent but it did show surface rust but DID pass PA inspection. Note the BEFORE pictures on the frame at the end.... So you know Im not hiding anything when I go to treat the frame with an oil-based protectant and its all pretty and black. Im an honest seller and want you to know there's nothing to hide!
Please note - this is a 22 year truck. It will break down and it will need something eventually! My suggestion is if you dont know these trucks, you should be prepared that you may have to fix something with this many miles. As of typing this in Jan 2024, It starts and drives well. Runs good for the mileage and looks awesome!
Note - I may be raising the price on this because I have been making improvements and investing in it.

- This engine SOMETIMES has the famous Land Rover ticking sound when warmed up. Its either a slipped sleeve or ticking lifter. Either way, it runs fine and no repairs will be offered on this.
- 3rd row seats need attached but all the hardware is present.
- The ONLY area of rust is the rear step that tips down when you go to use it. Very minor situation if you must use that step.
- Today the SRS light came on but then the next time I started it, was off.
- There is maybe a fender rub of the tire that I hear on occasion.
- Upon starting from a stop, I am hearing the tailpipe vibrate under on some plastic I think.
